Contact and Corrections

Thanks for wanting to reach us. This page explains the best way to contact the SkyIndoFly editorial team depending on what you need — whether that is an article correction, a content-related question, or a partnership inquiry.

We are a small editorial team. Every message that comes in is read by a human (a member of Editorial Leadership) within 48 working hours, and we try to reply to anything that needs a response. No chatbots, no generic auto-responders.

For article corrections

If you find a factual error in our content — outdated ticket pricing, changed visa rules, broken citations, typos, or inaccurate regulatory claims — we genuinely want to know. Our YMYL content involves financial decisions and important documentation; we do not want to leave bad information on the internet.

Helpful to include in your email:

  • The URL of the article in question
  • The specific paragraph or section you believe is incorrect
  • A source supporting your correction (link to a .go.id domain, an official airline site, or another verifiable document)
  • Whether you want us to credit you in the correction note (default: no — we do not name reporters unless explicitly requested)

What happens after a report: Editorial Leadership verifies your claim within 48 working hours. If valid, the article is updated and a dated correction note is appended. Full procedure details on the editorial standards §7 page.

For reader questions

If you have a question about a topic we cover — for example a PMI situation not precisely covered in an article, confusion about a child-passport procedure, or a follow-up question after reading a route guide — please ask.

A few things to understand:

  • We are not immigration consultants or lawyers. For document-specific cases involving your legal status (lost passport abroad, problematic PMI contract, dual-citizen child documents), our response will always defer to the KBRI/KJRI/KDEI or the relevant labor attaché. We can explain the procedure editorially, but legal decisions must go through official channels.
  • We are not a PPIU. If you are looking for an Umrah operator recommendation, we will direct you to the official Kemenag SISKOPATUH directory. We do not rank PPIU operators ourselves.
  • Replies are not always fast for complex questions. Questions that involve regulatory verification may need two to three working days because the relevant desk editor needs to check sources.

Simpler questions (“which article discusses X?”, “is rule Y still in effect?”) are typically answered within 24 hours.

For press and partnerships

We are open to:

  • Press interviews about our editorial content. Editorial Leadership members are available for non-personal interviews (no individual identification — per our collective-byline policy).
  • Data requests from researchers or journalists. We can share aggregate traffic or search patterns relevant to public research (individual reader privacy is preserved).
  • Editorial collaborations with other publications. For example, guest pieces for adjacent-domain publications (PMI advocacy NGOs, diaspora academic journals, etc.) — case-by-case basis.

We are not open to:

  • Paid placement, sponsored content, or native advertising. No exceptions. Including for airlines, PPIU operators, travel agents, OTAs, or consumer brands.
  • Backlink exchange. We do not sell links, we do not swap links, and we do not do guest-post-for-link arrangements.
  • Press-release republishing. We do not publish press releases as articles. If your announcement has editorial value (a new route launch, a visa-policy change), we may cover it — but as an editorial article with independent reporting, not as a republish.
  • Influencer partnerships. We are not a social-media platform; we have no influencers.

For technical issues on the site

A page that won’t load? A broken link? Images that won’t render? A form that doesn’t work?

Helpful to include:

  • The URL of the affected page
  • What you expected to happen vs what actually happened
  • Your browser and device (if you know)
  • A screenshot, where possible

Privacy of correspondence

Emails you send us are not shared with third parties, not sold, and not used for marketing. We retain corrections email history as an editorial audit trail (to prove that published corrections were based on valid external reports), but reporter identities are not published unless explicitly requested.

If you send an email touching sensitive topics (a PMI facing a difficult situation abroad, a documentation question involving personal information), we handle it with discretion and do not retain personal information longer than necessary to respond.

Note from the editorial desk

We are aware that the “contact page” on many travel-affiliate sites is a formality — an email address nobody reads, or a form that lands in a spam folder. SkyIndoFly is not that. Editorial Leadership actually reads inbound email, especially on YMYL corrections. Our content affects real reader decisions; our responses should be as serious.
